Who we are
We are excited to have you come stay with us. Our names are Matt and Lauren Woodford and we are both natives of Charleston. Matt has actually been in Hanahan his whole life. We live on the property with our 5 kids, 2 Boykin Spaniels, and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We both have an extreme love for the outdoors, are avid anglers, and love being with our kids and dogs. We both have several businesses and stay busy, but we are always around if you need something while you stay with us. We absolutely love getting to know our guests and are happy to hang out and give you plenty of things to keep you occupied during your stay. Our Properties
We started Hanahan Hideaway with the belief that every vacation should be an experience and be memorable, no matter the size of the space. Matt is a General Contractor who built our home on the property, as well as the Hanahan Hideaway, with an extreme attention to detail. I am the artistic type that wanted to create a space that felt like a Costa Rican bungalow that brings the outdoors to the inside. I feel that we accomplished this and find ourselves sneaking out there for a staycation from time to time. We hope you enjoy the space as much as we have.
