Enjoy access to various things on the property
Feel free to use our home as your own. The studio pool house is detached from our main house, but you may see us, our kids, or our dogs around the property. Let us know if you need any additional supplies for grilling or entertaining.
Enjoy the pool and the equipment
At Hanahan Hideaway, we strive to give our guests a great experience. If you need exclusive access to the pool during your stay, please let us know times and we are willing to accommodate. We have lounge chairs out for your convenience.
Head out to the dock and watch the sun set
Nothing beats the sunsets on the marsh. This is one of our favorite views in the whole area. Take a glass of wine out there and watch the colors bounce off of the tidal creek. We have a fence up that also protects children and animals from going into the creek. The alligators are plentiful back there in the spring and summer months.
use our kayaks to paddle the creek
Take one of our three kayaks out on the creek and get your morning workout. The creek goes in a circle and you can see the osprey, eagles, a Pelican that likes to hang out and eat mullet, and maybe some alligators. Always something going on out there.
Outdoor Showers and Bathrooms
We have built an outdoor shower on the back deck that offers some privacy if you want to shower after coming off the water. There is also a separate shower and bathroom downstairs that is available for guests to use whenever they like.

There is ample parking in the driveway to the left of the big house. You can use the entire driveway however you like. There is a gate up now that will keep dogs in.

Go up the stairs to the left of the garage and you will turn right into the breeze way.

When you enter the breezeway from the left, the first door on the left is where you will be staying. We will send you the entry code 24 hours before your stay. Do not lock the doorknob lock. It is all done on the key pad.

We have high speed business Wifi for your convenience. The password is: Dogdog34$$. We have a Roku hooked up to the tv that you can use to sign in to Netflix or Hulu. If you do not have an account, let us know and we will let you use ours.

We have several sleeping configurations in the studio. There is a queen size bed in the middle, a bean bag that opens to a fluffy queen size mattress, and a twin-size mattress in the loft that can be used by a child. Not suitable for under 7.
